Community Service at Parker Academy
At Parker Academy, our commitment to community service is a cornerstone of our educational philosophy. Each week, students dedicate a half day to engaging in meaningful service projects that foster personal growth and community connection.
Through partnerships with organizations such as Darbster Dog Rescue, local nursing homes, the NH Veterans Home, Friends of Forgotten Children, and local food pantries, our students not only contribute their time and talents but also develop essential life skills.
We believe that community service is invaluable in teaching students to look beyond themselves and make a positive impact on others. These experiences encourage social-emotional learning, helping students build relationships with peers and community members in a supportive environment. At Parker Academy, we are proud to nurture compassionate individuals who are eager to give back to their community.
Our son has made so much progress with his academics and social skills since attending Parker Academy. We love the small class size and opportunities to participate in community service.
