Career and Workforce Planning

For many students and young adults, planning for life after high school can feel uncertain or overwhelming, especially when the path forward isn’t college-focused or isn’t immediately clear. This individualized career and workforce planning program provides supportive, practical guidance to help students explore options and build a realistic plan for their next steps.
Counseling is personalized to each student’s strengths, interests, learning style, and goals. Depending on the individual, sessions may focus on identifying career interests, exploring training programs or certifications, understanding workplace expectations, or mapping out short- and long-term employment goals.
Students receive hands-on support with job readiness skills such as resume development, interview preparation, job searching, and understanding workplace norms. For students pursuing trade programs, technical training, or certifications, counseling may include researching programs, understanding application processes, and planning timelines.
This program also supports broader transition skills, including self-advocacy, time management, and independence related to employment and adult responsibilities. The goal is to help students move forward with confidence, clarity, and practical skills that support success in the workplace and beyond.
